What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk (4 day workweek) position at Ledgent?
Our recruiting firm is partnering with an established manufacturing company in Fort Lauderdale, FL to find them an AP Clerk for their team.
The position is direct hire offering a full benefits package.
The salary range is between $24-$26 per hour.
The position is 100% onsite in Fort Lauderdale.
The company works a 10 hour shift Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm. Enjoy every Friday off!
Job Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Set up invoices for payment and process payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files and handle vendor correspondence
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of accounts payable experience in an AP or Accounting Clerk type role
- ERP experience
- Ability to commute to Fort Lauderdale daily
