What are the responsibilities and job description for the AP specialist position at Ledgent?
Process and manage accounts payable transactions for multiple commercial properties using Yardi.
Review and verify invoices for accuracy, appropriate approvals, and compliance with lease agreements and vendor contracts.
Accurately code invoices to the correct GL accounts, cost centers, and property allocations.
Process vendor payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers while ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with property managers and vendors.
Assist with CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and annual budget allocations.
Maintain accurate and organized AP records for audits and compliance.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including AP accruals and expense reporting.
Communicate with vendors, property managers, and internal teams to resolve payment and invoice inquiries.
2 years of accounts payable experience in a commercial property management or real estate environment.
Proficiency in Yardi is required.
Strong understanding of CAM reconciliations, lease terms, and property accounting principles.
Experience processing AP transactions across multiple properties.
Familiarity with tenant/vendor management and real estate operations.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/reporting tools.
Experience working in a real estate investment trust (REIT), commercial property management firm, or real estate services company.
Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and lease accounting.
Pay DOE $25.00
