* Work closely with the Billing Manager to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other industry standards.
* Assist in the management of daily billing operations.
* Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance providers.
* Work closely with the Billing Manager to provide guidance and support to the billing department.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration with multiple ACT teams to enhance overall efficiency.
* Stay informed about changes in medical coding regulations and assist in ensuring compliance.
* Participate in regular coding audits to verify accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
* Support the implementation of strategies to minimize billing errors and denials.
* Contribute to the optimization of the revenue cycle from charge entry to payment posting.
* Collaborate with the Billing Manager in addressing claim denials and appeals.
* Assist in identifying and resolving issues causing claim rejections.
* Contribute to the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the billing department.
Requirements -
* Bachelor's or Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
* 5 years of experience in medical billing, with a proven track record of excellence.
Starting Salary Range $70K - $80K
