This growing Non-Profit is looking for a bookkeeper/accountant to join their team! The position is full-time and requires working onsite, offering an excellent chance to utilize your accounting skills in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, particularly within the non-profit sector.
- Perform accounting and bookkeeping duties including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), General Ledger (GL), Journal Entries (JE), and Payroll (via Paylocity).
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for financial management and reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial data entry and management.
- Prepare financial statements and reports as needed.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Adapt to the needs of the organization, demonstrating initiative and the ability to manage tasks independently.
- 4-5 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting roles.
- Experience in the non-profit sector is highly beneficial, though not mandatory.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without requiring extensive oversight.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Monday to Friday, full-time.
The role offers a competitive pay range, with a minimum pay of $32 and a maximum pay of $39 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
