Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Support cooks in various tasks, including chopping vegetables, cooking ingredients, and assembling dishes.
- Buss tables and assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet events as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Help maintain inventory levels by reporting shortages or needed supplies to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen setting is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Familiarity with food handling techniques and safety practices is a plus.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, or banquet services is advantageous.
