Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. Your ability to engage with customers, upsell menu items, and maintain a clean and organized workspace will contribute significantly to our guests' dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure food handling safety standards are met in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of orders.
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or grocery store is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food service operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Experience with sales techniques, particularly upselling, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
