Director of Business Relations
This role offers substantial growth potential where you are able to expand your knowledge of the wine industry with room to move up in our family company. With your effort directly driving your success and earning opportunities. As the Director of Business Relations, you’ll represent the iconic Ledson Winery and Hotel by building relationships with local businesses such as hotels, tour companies, and chambers of commerce. You’ll have the opportunity to educate these partners about Ledson’s wines, rich family history, and unique tasting experiences to encourage their guests to visit our stunning, hand-crafted castle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain partnerships with tour companies, limo services, B&Bs, hotels, travel planners, and restaurants through calls, emails, texts, and in-person visits.
- Educate partners and their teams about Ledson Winery, its offerings, and its history to foster long-term relationships.
- Serve as the primary liaison for business partners, assisting with reservations for tastings, hotel stays, and other experiences.
- Coordinate and attend offsite pouring events with business partners.
- Represent Ledson at industry events, mixers, and community functions to promote the brand and drive business.
- Collaborate with management and the hospitality team to ensure exceptional customer service for partners and visiting guests.
- Continuously research and cultivate new business opportunities while strengthening existing relationships.
- Achieve individual and company sales, bookings, and profitability targets.
Requirements:
- Proven sales and customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Knowledge of wine terminology and a passion for fine wines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Proficiency with technology, including relationship management tools and reservation systems like Tock.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
- Positive, professional attitude with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and transport materials as needed.
- Current California driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Compensation:
- Beginning base salary $68,000 - $75,000 plus Commission and Annual Bonus based on overall performance
