As a Payroll Intermediate Specialist, you will:
- Support daily payroll operations and assist the Payroll Team with routine processing tasks
- Maintain and update employee payroll records across all participating entities
- Perform payroll-related reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Participate in payroll projects and process improvements
- Assist with records management, including retention and destruction procedures
- Provide responsive support to employees regarding payroll questions—in person, by phone, or electronically
- Strong keyboarding and data-entry accuracy
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- The ability to learn department-specific payroll systems during the training period
- Solid organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and tact in sensitive situations
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfort working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed

- Associate’s degree with coursework in Accounting or Finance and two (2) years of related experience
- OR Four (4) years of directly related experience
