Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent T itle: School Office Support /Bookkeeper/Payroll
- Experience with computer operation, bookkeeping, or previous office experience is preferred.
Nature of Work:
Employee performs a moderate variety of clerical duties which may be of a specialized nature, as in bookkeeping, and are usually in a relatively narrow program area. Detailed instructions or general guides of some variety are available as a reference to the employee. The employee is expected to resolve problems of medium difficulty with little assistance. Occasionally the employee may plan, develop, or revise procedures for non-complex work. Errors are generally found within the school system. An employee in this position receives limited supervision.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Considerable knowledge of elementary arithmetic.
- Working knowledge and ability to use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Working knowledge of office practices.
- Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping
