We have taken on the new standard set in used vehicle acquisitions by dedicating a department solely to purchasing for our group out of one central location. We are currently receiving over 1200 leads per month and that number is growing. We have created the processes and now we are ready to add to the team! Our ideal candidate would have a team centric mindset with customer focus. We are looking for an upbeat go getter who is excited about cars and ready to learn.

As a buyer your responsibilities will include

• Make sure all appointments are scheduled at the correct location per the buying and stocking strategy set out by the used car manager.
• Respond to all inquiries effectively with our LJ process in a timely manner.
• Schedule appointments by following all assigned tasks and duties.
• Appraise vehicles in line with market pricing, reconditioning costs, and LJ standards.
• Pursue core product buys through service, appraisal, and customer mining opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other location associates over the phone, email, and text message.
• Provide collaborating managers and salespeople with detailed appointment information.
• Accurately set goals and expectations with management and coworkers during weekly meetings.
• Use provided metrics and analytics to track market trends and adjust accordingly.
• Log buys daily.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience
• Appraisal or dealership experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Familiar with Microsoft suite products (Exell, word, drives)
• Organizational skills
• Self motivated
• Phone etiquette
