Position Summary
Lead of Zone Business Analytics and Insights to set up insights and business analysis capabilities in America zone that in-line with global framework, guidance and practice, including where to play, what to offer, and how to win that will enable category marketing and sales to drive category growth through improving products, portfolio, channel performance and overall consumer/customer experience.
Essential Functions
- Act as business navigator and insights ambassador to America zone business, whose role is to ensure that category-based consumers, shoppers and customer insights are the foundations of our marketing strategy and execution.
- Facilitate business goal setting and de-constructure into business operational details in both mainstream and Asian retail and foodservice business.
- Own category business diagnosis and opportunity identification, from both internal lens and external (market/category/competitor/consumer) lens
- Oversee category insights End to End, to adapt and adjust global framework and practice into America Zone business, to set-up eco-system of data driven insights from digital/social media, ecommerce to offline go-to-market operationalization, retail for now, and food service for future.
- Oversee category insights end to end from where to play, what to offer (current and new), and go-to-market operationalization.

RESPONBILITIES
This position is designed to manage 1-2 subordinates, with one subordinate that focus more on portfolio and channel analysis and deep dive. When the team expands as the business continues to grow, may extend to another subordinate that focus more on innovation or incubation business.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
- 12 Years and above category, portfolio, consumers, shoppers, channel insights experiences.
- Solid understanding of marketing research knowledge, in both qualitative and quantitative, with proficiency in project management skill (writing up brief, managing agencies, meeting budget, meeting timelines, incorporating input)
- Good understanding and evaluation of in market and continuous data (retail, consumer panel, brand tracking, media, demand creation etc.)
- Strong business acumen and agility to understand operations of different functions.
- Line managing skill, team-player, self-motivated and able to work across different functional teams.
- Well-organized and with proven experience in project management.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented but not losing the big picture.
