Job Description
The Construction Manager will oversee all aspects of residential rennovations from permitting stage to final punch completion. Construction Manager supervises workers onsite; coordinates materials, equipment purchases, orders and delivery, is responsible for executing the project within the parameters of the project plans, estimate, budget and schedules, ensures work is being conducted in a safe and professional manner. This role requires a hands on approach to quality control, ensuring projects meet the highest quality standards, while managing company and customer expectations.
Qualifications and Key Responsibilities
- Minimum of 5 years construction experience is a must, experience with historic homes is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge and experience of construction trades.
- Knowledgable about construction costs, materials, products, means and methods and standard safety operating procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict management skills.
- Works collaboratively and effectively with project stakeholders; clients, architect/design team, crew members and subcontractors.
- Scheduling projects including subcontractor crews, vendors and material deliveries and ensures in-house team members have the tools/supplies needed.
- Clearly communicate the scope of work and any changes to subcontractors and team members.
- Collaborate with management team, participate in manpower calls and weekly onsite meetings.
- Candidate must be capable of reading and implementing residential design production drawings.
- Adhere to general building and safety codes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
