Summer fun in Lee's Summit is at Camp Summit, and Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation is looking for rock star leaders to join our team! Camp Summit is the ultimate training ground for those interested in a future career in education!
This position will be working late May through August 8, hours will vary. Responsibilities include oversight of 5-11-year-old campers, ensuring they are in a safe and fun environment and all policies and procedures are being followed. A fun/outgoing personality is a must, and work will be inside and outside.
Minimum qualifications include being CPR/First Aid certified (if the candidate is not currently certified, LSPR will offer classes for a candidate to get certification). Candidates must be at least 17 years of age. Preferred candidates will have multiple years of childcare experience, experience working indoors and outdoors, and good communication skills.
This position will be scheduled 35-40 hours a week working various hours, applicants should be flexible.
