Vault Cashier Specialist

Job Summary
Leech Lake Gaming is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vault Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining assigned bank per shift, accounting for all currency received or exchanged, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and attention to detail. You will work closely with our casino guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain assigned bank per shift.
2. Account for all currency received or exchanged.
3. Buy and sell currency/coin from casino guests.
4. Redeem Blackjack chips, coupons, and tickets.
5. Cash checks and credit card advances according to policy.
6. Payout slot jackpots and refill.
7. Verify funds from all revenue-generating departments.
8. Prepare and verify Even Money Exchanges.
9. Prepare Casino House Banks.
10. Use coin/currency sorters.
11. Maintain control of keys and logs to sensitive areas.
12. Maintain knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
13. Attend and/or facilitate mandatory meetings and training.
14. Maintain confidentiality at all times.
15. Be sensitive to Native American culture.
16. Operate within the parameters of Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual, and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
17. Secure assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.
