What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Leeds Professional Resources?
Leeds Professional Resources is working with a client in the 33602 area of Tampa that is looking for an accountant. The primary responsibility of the position is to be the preparer for the financial reporting and related processes across investment funds, general partnership entities, employee incentive vehicles, separately managed accounts and affiliated entities.
- Collaborate with the firm’s external fund administrators
- Ensure all reporting is timely, accurate and maintained properly in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements
- Prepare and review expenses, allocations, management fee calculations, net asset value calculations and other miscellaneous reports
- Prepare and review calculations and notices to investors including capital calls/distributions, equalization, waterfall, other calculations and notices to investors
- Prepare and review annual and quarterly financial statements and investor capital statements;
- Verify all investor reporting is timely provided to investors
- Prepare and review documentation for the treasury process for the funds in tandem with the treasurer
- Collaborate with and prepare and review information for the third-party compliance personnel and/or internal resources to complete required SEC and compliance reports
- Review investment subscription documentation provided by investors and prepare subscription documents as required
- Prepare information for the investor administrative process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA eligible required
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel
Salary : $75,000 - $77,000
