Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Extends full assistance to all parties to obtain claim information and documentation.
- Updates computer system and maintains notes on all claims activity, conversations, correspondence, payments, etc.
- Reviews reported claims and conducts analysis and investigation to determine if all forms of required documentation are accounted for and claim is ready for final approval.
- Prepares and submits required claim resolution documentation to Work up team for final review and disposition.
- Work in a call center environment answering inbound calls regarding claims status, claim requirements, documents required and explanation of settlement breakdowns.
How your role contributes to the success of the business?
Ensure that assistance is provided to the Dealer, Lender and policy Holder during the claim evaluation and that claims are reviewed correctly and within required state and company guidelines.
Specific functions of your role
- Review documents sent by customer, lenders, insurers, dealers, required for claim processing, validates legibility and that it belongs to the contract holder and applicable vehicle.
- Updates computer system and maintains file on all claims activity, conversations, correspondence, payments, etc.
- Keeps appropriate parties informed; follow-ups at least every 30 days on open claims.
- Prepares and submits required claim documentation up to Work-up team for final disposition of benefits.
- Accountability and practicing schedule adherence.
Salary : $52,000 - $54,000
