Responsibilities Include:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.
1. Act as a representative of Leer Inc. in all areas of sales and customer engagement.
2. Prepare timely and accurate quotes to meet customer expectations.
3. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email with efficiency and professionalism.
4. “Wow our customers” by delivering exceptional service that leaves a lasting impression.
5. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.
6. Provide customers with regular updates on orders, shipments, company news, and other relevant information.
7. Collaborate with the Technical Support Department to address and resolve warranty claims, technical inquiries, and customer issues.
8. Evaluate and document current business processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
9. Cross-train in all Leer CSR divisions to create a dynamic and flexible team.
10. Support the achievement of company sales goals.
11. Accurately maintain and document sales records in alignment with company standards.
12. Assist other departments with tradeshow preparation, distributor shipments, marketing projects, or other business initiatives as needed.
13. Potential to support production team when required.
14. Ensure all responsibilities are executed in strict compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
1. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product features, benefits, and pricing. Active listening skills are essential to understand customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
2. Customer Focus: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service, combined with a talent for problem-solving and resolving customer concerns effectively.
3. Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with the ability to quickly learn and use ERP systems, automated quoting software, and other tools.
4. Product/Service Knowledge: A willingness to gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing processes and product offerings. Knowledge of refrigeration is a plus but not required.
5. Team Player: Collaborates effectively with marketing, sales, accounting, and operations teams to ensure seamless workflows and shared goals.
6. Organization and Multi-Tasking: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple quotes, answer customer inquiries, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and/or Experience
A high school diploma is required, along with 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Mathematical Skills
Proficiency in calculating figures such as discounts, pricing multiples, and percentages is essential.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is required, along with experience using CRM systems, project management tools, and quoting software is preferred. The ability to quickly learn and adapt to ERP systems is also essential.
Physical Demands
Extended periods of time sitting and using a computer.
