Job Description:
Responsibilities Include
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair production equipment including, but not limited to, machinery including CNC equipment, equipment electrical systems, AC, DC, and servo drives, physical structures, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Interprets and prioritizes preventive maintenance & work requests. Ensures that PM schedule is kept up to date
- Perform preventive maintenance inspection (PM) diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components
- Must be proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical and electrical prints.
- Recommend and maintains repair parts inventory as needed
- Communicate with outside machine technicians for trouble shooting as well as organizing service personal for machine repair
- Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions
- Assist with Continuous Improvement projects
- Buildings and grounds maintenance and upkeep
- Perform other assignments relating to maintenance, repair, projects and production as required and assigned
Qualifications
- Associate or Technical Degree in relative field preferred, but not essential
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides
- Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude and repair abilities
- Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation
- Knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- General knowledge and operation of hand tools and equipment, including but not limited to drill press, surface grinder, mill, lathe, band saw and multi-meter
Essential Functions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend/stoop on a regular basis
- High School Diploma and Supporting continuing education specific to equipment repair and maintenance.
- Positive attitude and excellent attendance

- Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Flexibility in workday hours as needed to get downed equipment back in production.
- Reading, writing and general math skills
