POSITION : Senior High Voltage Engineer

JOB SUMMARY :
This position reports to the Manager of Electrical Engineering and is responsible for supporting substation electrical engineering to interconnect new solar, wind, and energy storage plants. The goal of this position is to ensure substation and transmission line projects in project execution / construction and the development pipeline meet Leeward's technical and business requirements while maintaining our long-term ownership focus. The position requires experience with substation design and construction for utility-scale renewable energy plants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Prepare substation and transmission line scopes of work, equipment specifications, and other technical documentation required to support substation EPC RFPs and contracts.
Management of an outside consulting engineer to support the high voltage-related preliminary design and associated studies.
