Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our wind farm sites. This includes supervision of employees and contractors in maintaining turbines and performing balance of plant equipment operations, ensuring a safe work environment, and serving as the primary interface with local landowners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project financials and be able to perform cost-benefit analysis proposals to support site operation improvements.
Essential Functions
The successful candidate will operate the site in a manner that promotes the highest levels of safety, compliance, and productivity, carrying out management responsibilities in accordance with Company Policies, Project Agreements, and applicable laws. Key responsibilities include coordinating logistics and activities for turbine and field repairs, maintenance, and other work required, as well as participating in daily preparation for manpower, special projects, and maintenance of the site and all related equipment.
Key Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience and a safety mindset, with the ability to ensure a safe working environment for those employed at the plant. A mechanical or electrical engineering degree is a plus, as is proficiency in using personal computers and relevant software applications.
