The Opportunity:
As part of our growth, we are searching for the right person to develop our business through business-to-business sales. To be successful in this role, you must be able to develop the sales channels required in order to sell our wood products. Some wood products could be sold through distributor relationships, and other products through direct-to-retail connections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
You will carry out all sales activities throughout greater Northeast Ohio. You will be responsible for obtaining new customers and passing the newly acquired relationships to the inside sales team for ongoing account management.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new customers, including generating and qualifying leads and referrals
- Develop and make presentations to prospects, negotiate, and present contracts with prospects
- Maintain sales activity records and reports
- Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
- Follow up on sales activity
- Develop revenues to support your position and grow the overall business
- Monitor and report sales activities and follow up for management
- Participate in sales events, as needed
Key Competencies
You will need to have strong ability in planning and organization, persuasiveness, adaptability, verbal and written communication, strong negotiation skills, and be goal driven.
What we look for:
- Bachelors degree preferred, high school diploma required
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications, principles and practices of sales, proven ability to achieve sales targets
- At least 5 years of industrial business-to-business sales experience
- Must be able to communicate intelligently, and articulate thoughts and objections clearly
- Must have very professional presence
- Must be able to solve problems creatively, and work without supervision
