General Summary
We are currently seeking a summer Intern for the Asset Management Department. In this role, the candidate will gain experience and education in multiple areas of Residential Operations including building design, development, apartment renovations, leasing/sales and marketing, and performance management through the study and analysis of various performance metrics.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Work closely with various members of the leasing and asset management teams
- Tour and inspect residential buildings and apartments for quality control of apartment prep
- Research competitive properties to help support pricing decisions, marketing initiatives and design and development of future projects
- Data collection and high-level analysis to help drive and improve performance results.
- Participation in the creation of annual budgets across the entire portfolio
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing or other related fields.
- Experience working in a corporate office environment is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel is preferred.
- Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
