About the Project:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our team for an exciting new luxury mid-rise project in beautiful Pompano Beach, Florida. This project will be a landmark development, and you will play a crucial role in its successful completion.
Job Summary:
The Construction Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction project, from pre-construction planning to project closeout. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in developing and managing the project schedule and budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, change orders, and submittals.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues and challenges.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project completion.
- Assist with project closeout procedures, including punch lists and final documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in construction preferably with experience in luxury multi-family residential or luxury mid-rise construction.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with SharePoint and BuilderTrend is a plus, but not required. We will provide training for the right candidate.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential.
