What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wealth Strategist position at Legacy Advisors?
Position Summary: The Wealth Strategist's primary responsibilities will be to work collaboratively within our Wealth Planning Group alongside internal subject matter experts and client facing teams to deliver comprehensive wealth planning, business succession, and charitable planning strategies along with advice. This planning will incorporate sophisticated income tax, balance sheet, cash flow and estate tax concepts, with attention to every aspect of a client's financial plan, including coordination with client's investment portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to practice sophisticated, multi-generational financial planning across a unique client base. A successful candidate will bring in financial modeling that covers a wide variety of topics including business succession, exit planning, asset acquisition and philanthropic planning. Postion Responsibilities:
- Enhance and generate client deliverables such as pro forma balance sheets, cash flow, estate flows, asset acquisition analysis, and other analyses or illustrations related to specific financial decision making.
- Closely collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver integrated advice. (Accountants, attorneys and other trusted advisors.
- Develop relationships with centers of influence to remain current on topics and trends and to foster valuable connections.
- Provide forward-thinking financial planning recommendations.
- Review and interpret complex client plans, business structures, and tax returns.
- Help clients achieve their philanthropic goals through tax-efficient giving techniques and legacy planning.
- Coordinate investment portfolio planning with holistic financial planning.
- Identify new technologies and utilize them to communicate concepts and design plans.
- Serve as a trusted partner to help clients navigate complexities in pursuit of their objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field: CFP, CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Master's degree in Finance, Taxation or related field a plus.
- 10 years of experience in financial planning with a focus on UHNW clients.
- Deep knowledge of holistic lifetime planning; tax, estate, retirement and philanthropic planning.
- High proficiency in Excel and experience in building financial models is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
