What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation position at Legacy at College Hill?
Job Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate care of the elderly, dependability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Transport residents to and from appointments in a Company vehicle
- Provide care to our residents, while promoting their highest levels of functioning
- Able to perform CNA duties and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while on appointments and at the facility during non-appointment times
Requirements:
- Valid Kansas driver’s license
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate
- Have a good driving record with no more than one (1) moving violation or accident in the past 3 years, and no license revocations or suspensions in the past 5 years
- Be able to pass drug test, including medications that alter reflex.
- Able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Work as a team member responsibly and independently.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to and communicate with the geriatric population.
- Able to assess data reflecting the resident’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each resident’s requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
