Legacy Environmental Services is looking for an experienced Diesel and Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on our variety of trucks, trailers and equipment. Individual must be detail oriented and self-driven to keep us moving.
Responsibilities:
-Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues proficiently
-Input completed repairs and schedule maintenance on Fleetio software
-Adhere to company safety and environmental standards and practices
Requirements:
-Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
-Diesel Mechanic Certification with at least 2 years of hands-on experience
-Comprehensive knowledge of diesel engine repair and standard maintenance practices
-Complete set of tools and toolbox needed
-Acceptable driving record as well as a passing drug test and background check
Preferred Qualifications:
-NC State Vehicle Safety Inspector
-OEM training and ASE certifications
-Experience with Vac Trucks and Pump trucks highly recommended
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.05 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
