Overview:
The Legacy Group is seeking a growth-minded individual to perform property management duties and also represent buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. Applicant must have a real estate license or be willing to obtain one. This dual-role position will allow you to gain experience in both property management and real estate sales. You will be working approximately 15-20 hours per week performing property management tasks, with the rest of your time devoted to real estate sales activities.
As a member of our team, you will receive top-level training in how to build a successful real estate career. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys the variety of both working with tenants that are renting homes and apartments, while also working with buyers and sellers in real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of residential properties, tenant relations, and walking tenants through the leasing process.
- Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance or repairs.
- Handle tenant inquiries and lease renewals.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate rent collection and manage property-related financials.
- Assist in preparing properties for sale or lease.
- Real Estate Sales:
- Assist clients with the buying and selling process of properties.
- Work with clients to understand their real estate needs and goals.
- Show properties, schedule open houses, and conduct property viewings.
- Support in preparing contracts, disclosures, and other documentation for real estate transactions.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and local property listings.
Requirements:
- Active real estate license, or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous property management or real estate experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Customer-focused with a strong commitment to service excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
