Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our property management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property.
- Rent collection and accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate tenant files and records using property management software.
- Customer Service
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.
- Process unit turnovers
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Administrative tasks such as filing, office inventory, answering and directing calls.
- Perform data entry tasks related to tenant applications, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
- Coordinate maintenance requests
- Processing truck rentals
- General office maintenance and cleaning.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent conflict management skills to effectively address tenant concerns.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with tenants and staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No overtime
- Rotating weekends
