We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permit Coordinator / Office Manager to oversee the permitting process for multiple properties while supporting the daily operations of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the construction permitting process for multiple properties.
- Organize, file, and maintain documents in designated areas for quick and efficient access.
- Complete and submit permit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with town officials, contractors, and other professionals to facilitate permitting and approvals.
- Plan ahead to anticipate and prepare for tasks required in the permitting process.
- Assist with general office administration, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks.
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Maintain attention to detail while juggling competing priorities and deadlines.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, including purchasing and restocking as needed.
- - Support the executive team with scheduling, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role, preferably in a startup or high-growth company.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Google sheets and Drive.
- Experience with Apple /Mac computers, and basic bookkeeping.
- Ability to work 50 hours per week and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
