DELVE DEEPER INTO YOUR DAY
This is a full-time Recreation Director position with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, plus weekends and holidays as needed to accommodate special events and resident activities.
As our Recreation Director, your days will be filled with creativity and connection. You'll design and lead engaging activities that bring smiles, laughter, and excitement to our residents in assisted living and memory care. From planning social events, group outings, and themed celebrations to organizing exercise classes, arts and crafts, and music therapy, you will be the driving force behind a thriving senior living community. You'll get to know each resident personally, tailoring programs to their interests, abilities, and unique life stories. With every activity you plan and every event you lead, you'll help create a home where residents feel valued, connected, and truly alive.
DO YOU MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS?
- Experience in recreational programming, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Ability to develop engaging and diverse activity programs tailored to residents' needs
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A passion for working with seniors and understanding their unique needs
Having your Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or similar certification is a plus!
