Legacy Law Group, a boutique estate planning, trust and probate administration law firm based in Sacramento, has two positions available for paralegals in our planning and court teams. Legacy Law Group works with a wide range of clients from small business owners to high net-worth individuals. We assist clients with every aspect of estate planning and guide them through the administration process after death.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Sacramento, California for an Estate Planning / Trust Administration / Probate Paralegal. The role involves day-to-day tasks associated with estate planning, trust administration, and probate processes. Experience in this field of law is beneficial but not required.

Daily r esponsibilities include all areas of estate planning, trust, and probate administration including but not limited to drafting correspondence, trusts, wills, powers of attorney, asset transfer documents, trust administration and probate pleadings; communicating with clients, beneficiaries and heirs; filing and serving trust and probate administration documents; managing court calendars and preparing managing attorney for upcoming appearances; interacting directly with the courts and administrative departments; and organizing and maintaining client files.

Organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to maintain a large workload

Comfortable with time sensitive assignments

Excellent writing and communication skills

Ability to communicate with clients empathetically and efficiently

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of professionals, including attorneys, financial advisors and court personnel

Experience in estate planning, trust administration, or probate

Knowledge of legal procedures and documentation

Bachelor's Degree

Professional certification by ABA approval paralegal program is a plus
