A global leader in medical device manufacturing is seeking a strategic and dynamic HR Business Partner to lead people and culture initiatives across North America. As VP of People & Culture, you will work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute a multi-year talent strategy, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent to support rapid growth and business transformation.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a 3-5 year strategic people plan that supports business transformation and growth.
- Lead initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities, ensuring the right talent is in place for organizational success.
- Partner with global HR teams to maintain alignment and consistency in HR policies and initiatives.
- Implement talent mapping and succession planning strategies to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Drive a coaching-centric culture, empowering managers to develop and engage their teams.
- Utilize HR analytics and dashboards to track key metrics and inform decision-making.
- Promote a workplace environment where constructive feedback, accountability, and continuous improvement are encouraged.
- Ensure compliance and effectiveness in HR operations, including payroll and administrative processes.
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize headcount planning, workforce strategy, and HR budget management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in medical device manufacturing or a regulated industry.
- Strong expertise in talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Proven experience in succession planning, talent mapping, and workforce planning.
- Data-driven mindset, with experience using HR analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and modern HR technologies.
Position Details
- Title: VP, People & Culture – North America
- Reports to: CEO (North America) & Global VP, People & Culture
- Direct Reports: 1 (will grow to a team)
- Base Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience
- First-Year Compensation at Plan: Based on company structure
- Travel Requirement: Up to 20%
- Years of Experience: 15
