Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop chassis, suspension, drivetrain, and aerodynamic components using CAD software (NX, SolidWorks, etc.), ensuring compliance with NASCAR regulations and performance targets.
- Lead engineering projects from concept to track implementation, managing timelines, budgets, and performance objectives while coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
- Develop and execute test plans using simulation, rig testing, and on-track validation, analyzing data to optimize component performance.
- Investigate component failures and performance limitations, implementing data-driven solutionsto enhance reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers and leadership to align development efforts with overall performance goals, presenting design concepts, test results, and technical recommendations.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Motorsports Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in NASCAR or a high-level motorsports environment.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of race car design, fabrication, and performance optimization.
- CAD & Simulation: Strong proficiency in NX (preferred), SolidWorks, and FEA tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and solving engineering challenges.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quicklyin a fast-paced environment.
- Communication & Teamwork: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
