About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable individuals to join our team as First Responder Care Assistants. In this role, you will serve as the frontline support for clients requiring immediate non-medical care assistance. You will provide essential services such as companionship, personal care, and emergency intervention while ensuring the safety and comfort of clients in their homes or other designated settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Immediate Client Response:
- Provide prompt and efficient care assistance to clients during urgent situations as directed by the care team or agency.
- Offer emotional and physical support to clients during critical incidents.
- Personal Care and Support:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions or needs to supervisors.
- Household Management:
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of care activities, client interactions, and any incidents.
- Complete and submit daily logs, checklists, and other documentation promptly.
- Client Advocacy:
- Ensure the dignity, privacy, and well-being of clients at all times.
- Uphold clients' rights and preferences while providing care.
- Communication:
- Respond professionally to client and family inquiries and concerns.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in caregiving or first aid/CPR is a plus.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or emergency response preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically capable of assisting clients with mobility and performing household tasks.
Requirements
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call hours.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour
