Position Summary :
This position cares for residents within the Skilled Nursing Facility under the direction of the Director of Nursing and designated floor nurses & medical staff, by performing the primary essential duties and responsibilities listed below. Duties and responsibilities will be completed while demonstrating behaviors that aligns with the Communitys Service Excellence philosophy and core values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Ensures resident rights, resident safety and resident security is the top priority.Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs.Assist residents with Bathing, dressing and other ADLs as needed.Documents care provided in medical record.Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.Transports residents or assists residents to walk.Turns and repositions bedfast residents, alone or with assistance, to prevent bedsores.Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone.Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.Cleans, sterilizes, stores, prepares, and issues dressing packs, treatment trays, and other supplies.Dusts and cleans residents' rooms.Other duties as assigned by Superviss as assigned.Qualifications :

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.CNA certification in the state of FloridaCPR / AED Certification is required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Language Ability :
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, speaking the primary language of the residents.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.Cognitive Demands :Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer Skills :
Ability to use Microsoft Windows and Point Click Care (PCC) preferred.Ability to use software to design calendars and signs.Ability to use the Internet.Competencies :
