The Accounts Payable position is responsible for performing essential duties including but not limited to managing the entire procurement cycle, job costs, sales and use tax, credit card reconciliation, and Ad Hoc reporting. This role works closely with multiple departments and reports to the Controller.

Responsibilities
- Manage the entire procurement cycle
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Maintaining Vendor accounts
- Generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance
- Preparing analyses of activity in GL accounts and monthly reconciliations
- Leveraging technology
- Focus on Continuous improvement
- Detail oriented with exceptional self-awareness and accountability
- Sharp problem-solving skills paired with a proactive mindset
- Very strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal
- Job Costing experience - Construction preferred
- Sales & Use tax experience
- Strong understanding of Financial Statements
- 3 years of accounting experience
- 2 years working in an ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Great Plains, SAP, and/or Viewpoint
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel (Pivot tables, V-lookup)
- Strong computer processing skills and the ability to adapt to new programs
- Resourceful and creative process improvement skills
- Understanding of Profit & Loss statement and Balance sheet
- Ability to be a team player and chip in wherever assistance is needed
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- High School diploma or equivalent
- BA or BS degree
- BA or BS degree in Accounting
- 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
