Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced nanny to care for a child with Down syndrome. The ideal candidate will have a background working with children with special needs and a deep understanding of how to provide nurturing and attentive care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and attention to a child with Down syndrome
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and playtime
- Help with developmental activities tailored to the child's needs
- Be available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when necessary
- Maintain a positive and safe environment for the child
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children who have special needs, specifically Down syndrome
- Patience, understanding, and a caring personality
- Flexibility in work schedule, including availability for nights and weekends
- Reliable transportation
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
