Accounting Manager
$120-125K Bonus

I grew up in Harford County and have lived in Northern Baltimore County most of my adult life and I had no clue that this wonderful company existed!
The Controller is looking for a very capable right hand who is interested in a great quality of life with very competitive compensation...but the chosen candidate will enjoy this stable role with little expectation of growth and expansion. It's just a great job and will remain the same great job for years to come! Do it well and it will be yours until you retire!
The position is ideal for someone who comes from a complex company with a large variety of intercompany transactions and related company activity. It would be great for a former Controller who doesn't want to be bothered with a team OR answering to the CFO/Executive Team any longer.
The chosen candidate will operate in their own zone and will not have to supervise or manage. The work is Manager, or even Controller, level complexity which is why it isn't titled Staff or Senior Accountant.
The Controller essentially wants to overpay for the level of work because of the complexity and critical nature of the work.
The position will essentially serve as a One Person Band for G/L Reconciliations and Analysis.
Responsibilities:
A CPA will be a major PLUS but strong complex company experience and a great personality to fit the culture is a must. The chosen candidate will exhibit the compelling drive to take on an Individual Contributor role and enjoy it for years to come!

- Reconciliations of G/L and Balance Sheet Accounts
- SG&A Reconciliations
- Understanding and Monitoring of a "Spider-Web" of Intercompany Transactions
- Daily Bank Recs
- Inventory Related Transactions
- Trend Analysis and Identification
