What are the responsibilities and job description for the DGA Maintenance Tech position at Legacy Senior Living?
- Work with Community Manager to schedule and process turns in a timely manner.
- Act as the main point of contact for property maintenance requests.
- Respond to tenant service requests and concerns in a timely, professional, clean and efficient manner.
- Responsible for understanding and staying compliant on all state, federal and local laws relating to Fair Housing.
- Responsible for handling after hours and weekend emergencies as they occur.
- Responsible for daily repair and upkeep of the property as needed.
- Perform light electrical, plumbing and carpentry work as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining clean grounds and common areas.
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory or all supplies and equipment owned by the company. Always follow manufacturer’s guidelines when using or servicing each piece of equipment.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure preservation and upkeep of the buildings, amenities, equipment, grounds, exteriors, and the overall appearance of company properties. Reports concerns to the Property Manager.
- Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents to the Community Manager.
- Assists in setting up tenant functions and activities. Some attendance may be required.
- Perform all job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Some weekend, evening, and on-call shifts may be required.
