What are the responsibilities and job description for the DMG Lead Maintenance Technician position at Legacy Senior Living?
- Work with Property Manager to schedule and process turns in a timely manner.
- Act as the main point of contact for property maintenance requests.
- Respond to tenant service requests and concerns in a timely, professional, clean and efficient manner.
- Responsible for daily repair and upkeep of the property as needed.
- Perform light electrical, plumbing and carpentry work as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining clean grounds and common areas.
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory or all supplies and equipment owned by the company. Always follow manufacturer’s guidelines when using or servicing each piece of equipment.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure preservation and upkeep of the buildings, amenities, equipment, grounds, exteriors, and the overall appearance of company properties. Reports concerns to the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager.
- Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents to the Property Manager.
- Assists in setting up tenant functions and activities. Some attendance may be required.
- Perform all job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Some weekend, evening, and on-call shifts may be required.
