What are the responsibilities and job description for the DMG Seasonal Maintenance Assistant position at Legacy Senior Living?
PURPOSE OF JOB AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the property. Assists in repairs and improvements of occupied and vacant apartments, as well as the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES.
Respond to tenant service requests and concerns in a timely, professional, clean and efficient manner.
Responsible for daily repair and upkeep of the property as needed.
Perform light painting, power washing, unit turns, and other work as needed.
Responsible for maintaining clean grounds and common areas.
Prepares or assists in the preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the company. Always follow manufacturer’s guidelines when using or servicing each piece of equipment.
Follow implemented preventive maintenance programs to ensure preservation and upkeep of the buildings, amenities, equipment, grounds, exteriors, and the overall appearance of company properties. Reports concerns to the Maintenance Technician and Property Manager.
Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents to the Property Manager.
Assists in setting up tenant functions and activities. Some attendance may be required.
Perform all job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Some weekend, evening, and on-call shifts may be required.
