Essential Functions :
Report key project status, schedules, processes, performance reports, and data analysis to upper management.
Establish and maintain an engineering recruitment and staffing organization focused on efficiency, innovation, and quality service delivery.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs for the engineering department to align with company objectives.
Oversee engineering project planning and execution to ensure alignment with client needs and industry trends.
Assist in setting business metrics for the engineering department to drive operational success.
Review and analyze client proposals to determine feasibility and alignment with company capabilities.
Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and quality managers to enhance engineering staffing strategies.
Assess market trends to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion into new sectors.
Recommend budgets to management, including staffing allocations, technology, and operational improvements.
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities, preparing schedules, and defining department objectives.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, government regulations, and industry standards.
Monitor and ensure accurate timekeeping within the department.
Marginal Functions :
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Recognize and reward employees for outstanding performance while providing coaching and support where needed.
Qualifications and Experience :
Required : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field and 4-6 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven history of successful project management, process improvement, and staff development.
Strong ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Preferred : Master’s degree with 7-10 years of experience in an engineering or staffing management role.
Experience in a supervisory or cross-functional project management role preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and staffing software (MRP, ATS, CRM systems preferred).
Strong knowledge of industry trends, workforce planning, and engineering recruitment strategies.
