Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, weigh, count, and package various small-to-medium-sized products for shipment.
- Operate degreasing equipment and prepare products for packaging.
- Create and apply labels to products and containers.
- Assemble cardboard containers and select appropriate preassembled packaging for each product.
- Accurately pack orders and complete final product packaging.
- Maintain production pace to meet daily and scheduled fulfillment goals.
- Verify orders against sales documents, ensuring all units are correctly included; report any shortages.
- Transport shipments using a pallet jack to designated storage or shipping areas.
- Record shipment details, including product numbers, purchase orders, quantities, and work orders.
- Conduct incoming inspections of products per company quality control procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and fulfillment area.
Position Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1-3 months of related experience in manufacturing, fulfillment, warehouse, or packaging. Equivalent training and experience will be considered.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance with company standards.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Comfortable working in a structured production or fulfillment setting.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment with low to moderate noise levels.
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be required.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 30 pounds periodically, with or without team assistance.
- Requires steady hands and good hand-eye coordination to manipulate small parts and inspect finished goods.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
