Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and manual machining equipment to fabricate precision parts.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining requirements.
- Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to ensure component accuracy.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling to meet exact specifications and tolerances.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished parts for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, production teams, and quality control to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3 years previous experience as a CNC or manual machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent with FANUC control systems
- Fluent in programming with Fusion360
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and machining principles.
- Experience working with various metals and materials used in precision manufacturing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or machining certification is a plus.
