Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of plant operations , including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (OSHA, GMP, food safety requirements).
- Monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance to meet customer demands.
- Lead, train, and mentor supervisors and production teams to enhance performance and morale.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost control.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and supply chain teams to optimize workflow and meet business goals.
- Manage budgets, cost reduction initiatives, and capital improvement projects .
- Implement and oversee Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives .
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork throughout the plant.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in flexible packaging, plastics, or food-grade manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement techniques .
- Familiarity with FDA, GMP, food safety, and OSHA regulations .
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze production data, optimize workflows, and drive operational excellence .
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning software .
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with printing, laminating, and converting processes in flexible packaging.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and cost control .
