Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines to bend and form metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine machine settings and specifications.
- Adjust machine settings such as bend angles, pressure, and back gauge positioning for accurate forming.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake machines to maintain optimal performance.
- Work with mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
- Collaborate with fabricators, welders, and engineers to ensure production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area , following all safety protocols and company procedures .
- Identify and report any defects, machine malfunctions, or quality issues.
- Assist with other fabrication tasks as needed to support production.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a metal fabrication role .
- Strong understanding of press brake operation, metal properties, and forming techniques .
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T symbols .
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, protractors, etc.).
- Experience with CNC press brake programming and adjustments (preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment .
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and proper machine operation procedures .
