Job Title : Shipping Clerk / Production Control
Department : Manufacturing
Reports To : Production Manager
POSITION SUMMARY :
Supports all levels of shipping and receiving activities for Legacy Technologies. This position will also cross train in Production Control. Issuing of materials on a timely basis to each department with accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Operations (BOO) to ensure on time delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Box and package parts using UPS, FedEx or other shipping methods based off the sales order requirements.
- Adhere to all guidelines and shipping procedures, including ITAR compliance requirements.
- Receive and distribute all incoming packages to the appropriate parties / departments.
- Assist Production Manager with moving product through the plant to ensure on-time delivery to customers and keep production areas with work.
- Assist with weekly cycle counts.
- Assist with filing as needed.
- Cross train in production control, reviewing MRP requirements with Production Manager and make issues promptly as needed.
