POSITION SUMMARY
As the Hospitality Supply Chain Manager at Legacy Vacation Resorts, your role is multifaceted. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain a consistent set of purchasing policies and procedures applicable across Legacy corporate and Owners association managed entities. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality of our products, services, purchasing, price negotiation, and goods for the company while allowing for efficient resort and owner-association operations. Your role will involve working closely with resort managers and corporate leadership to enhance supplier relationships aligned with B Corp values and leveraging your knowledge to enhance RFP and other competitive bidding practices across the portfolio. You will also be responsible for developing a program to ensure competitive pricing and terms are maximized and maintaining supplier relations to meet needs promptly. Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Establish and maintain specifications and pricing for products and services, which includes developing and improving SOPs and best practices.
- Develop, communicate, and manage procurement strategies to significantly improve product delivery and quality while reducing supply risk and maximizing purchasing power.
- Establish inventory levels, lead times, and reorder amounts for all supplies while monitoring purchasing performance.
- Overseeing the supply chain team mentoring, training, development, and growth/improvement to meet any expected objectives and goals.
- Ensure procurement strategies align with the company's financial goals, are consistent with brand standards and operational guidelines, and align purchases with company-approved partnerships.
- Work closely with the resort leadership team in various disciplines and special projects on procurement-related initiatives, focusing on meeting the company’s sustainability goals.
- Manage the addition of new suppliers to the purchasing system, ensuring all required documentation is provided. Update prices in the catalog and ensure prices are always current.
- Expedite the purchasing process by entering requisitions into the purchasing system and, where necessary, obtain user department approval for alternate methods or materials if delivery is unavailable when required.
- Maintain all company accounts and ensure they are always maintained and in good standing.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as requested.
