What are the responsibilities and job description for the PBX/Resort Communication Specialist position at Legacy Vacation Resorts?
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide exceptional guest service to internal and external customers.

Essential Functions Statement(s)*
- Answer high volume of inbound calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Create helpdesk tickets for housekeeping, maintenance, and security departments, followed by a call to the guest to confirm that the ticket was resolved.
- Understand and practice all of Legacy Vacation Resorts Front Office Standards Manual and effectively perform, “The Six Principles” of the front office.
- Assist with all late check-ins for all Legacy Vacation Resorts.
- Complete transactions in RCC as necessary.
- Respond to emergency situations according to procedures in all properties.
- Utilize each resort’s PBX Directories and be able to provide guests calling in from all resorts for location information on resort, amenities, activities, local area attractions, events and directions, etc.
- Responsible for responding to guest inquiries and complaints and advising management on resolution.
- Complete various additional tasks and assignments as needed.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience: 3 to 4 years customer service experience in hospitality environment required.
Computer Skills: Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Other Requirements: Must have a flexible schedule to work either 1st or 2nd shift (Monday-Sunday). Fluent in English and Spanish.
