SUPERVISING ATTORNEY-CENTRAL OFFICE
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI
Legal Aid of Western Missouri (LAWMO) is seeking a Supervising Attorney for the family law team at our Central Office in Kansas City, Missouri. This team represents survivors of domestic violence with child custody cases, paternity actions, actions for dissolution of marriage, and protection orders. The Supervising Attorney will oversee a staff of attorneys, paralegals, and an administrative assistant and will be supported by an Assistant Supervising Attorney. The Supervising Attorney will also maintain a caseload consisting of some of the more complicated family law cases handled by our office and will provide guidance to less experienced attorneys on the team.
Qualifications:
· Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
· Experienced in family law.
· Has the ability to communicate information effectively and concisely.
· Has the ability to work independently and efficiently.
· Is detail-orientated.
· Is able to manage a caseload, in addition to administrative and supervisory duties.
· Has a sense of humor.
Salary: $75,000 experience
